How I Wealthy Affiliate Support Helped Me with the Website Migration
In my previous blog post, I talked about migrating my websites to Wealthy Affiliate. It would save me some money. In fact, I saved more than $1,000! My websites would still benefit from many powerful features and tools at Wealthy Affiliate. So, it made a lot of sense to me.
I get nervous when I have to move my websites from one hosting provider to another. A lot of things could go wrong. And when things go wrong, it can affect my online businesses. I could lose sales and revenue could drop.
When I finally decided to migrate my websites to Wealthy Affiliate, I asked Carson (co-founder of Wealthy Affiliate) for help. As always, he was quick to respond and offer advice.
Isn’t it awesome that a co-founder has time for someone like me? To answer all my queries and doubts.
At first, the website migration sounded a little complicated. Carson did provide me steps to follow. And I’m all right to follow the steps.
Although I was still nervous, I decided to follow the steps. At the same time, I reached out to the support team for help to clarify some of the steps. To my surprise, the support team replied and offered to do the entire migration process for me.
And yet, I was also nervous about that. Hope you understand. These are, after all, my precious websites. I don’t want anything to happen; such as losing blog posts, or valuable visitor comments.
Still, the idea of the support team doing the migration for me sounded perfect. So, I agreed.
I replied to the support team that I was agreeable to receiving their help. With my consent, they took over the wheel. Within a couple of hours, all my websites were on the Wealthy Affiliate hosting servers.
And everything was all right!
