I am always looking for Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategies to improve the search rankings of my websites. To get the web pages ranked ranked high on search engine results pages (SERPs). Better still, get ranked on the 1st page.

To that end, I found this product, and wondered if it is any good? I present my findings in this article – OMG Machines Review – Scam or Legit?

Also, I teach digital marketing courses in universities and education institutions. It is always good for me to learn the latest SEO techniques, and I pass the knowledge on to my students.

Plus, I do some digital marketing projects for clients. Many ask for SEO services, and to get ranked on 1st Page. Being on the 1st Page will drive more traffic to their websites. Every visitor is an opportunity to convert into a paying customer.

If you are like me, looking to learn how to do SEO for your business website, or teach SEO, or provide the service to your clients, then this article is ideal for you.

Who Owns OMG Machines?

Greg Morrison and Mike Long are the owners of OMG Machines.

What is OMG Machines?

OMG Machines was launched in 2012. The OMG stands for One Man Gang. The concept is that when you complete the course, you will be able to run your own online business by yourself.

This is an advanced SEO course. It is promoted as a course to teach you how to use the power of SEO to increase making money online.

Who Is OMG Machines For?

  • Experienced marketers who know the basic SEO, or at least some of it
  • Experienced entrepreneurs who know the basic SEO, or at least some of it

What Are The Prerequisites For OMG Machines?

First, you need to have the budget to buy the course, at least. I mention this because the fee is very high. Do factor in additional costs as this is only training. You will need to purchase tools, domain name & web hosting (if you have not yet), and online ads.

For this course, it is ideal that you know some basic SEO. Also, it is best that you know how to use the computer, surf the Internet, and how to use apps.

How To Blog And Make Money On The Internet

Plus, you must be ready to work hard. This is not one of those ‘push one button’, and everything gets done for you thing. Like any business, you must put in time and effort to reach success.

Also, do take note that this is not a get rich quick scheme. A legit business takes time to build and grow. A business is a long term investment that will yield long term results.

What Do You Get With OMG Machines?

This is an advanced SEO course. Besides SEO, you will learn the following:

  • How to build your own affiliate website?
  • Detailed best SEO practices that will drive traffic from search engines to your site
  • How to rank sites and pages on search engines results pages (SERPs)?
  • Up to date SEO tactics
  • How to monetize your website, especially with affiliate marketing?
  • How to get local paying clients?
  • How to rank eCommerce products and boost sales significantly?

You will gain access to training materials such as video tutorials, webinars, lectures in mp3, text documents, and examples of how to implement SEO on your website.

The course has many instructors, each focused on a specific topic:

  • Mike Long – website conversion and affiliate sites
  • Steven Floyd – local SEO and traffic
  • Joe Marfoglio – affiliate marketing (Clickbank & CPA), outsourcing and YouTube domination
  • Fletch – SEO
  • Liz Herrera – paid ads
  • Jayme Washington – getting clients and follow up
  • David Mills – success mindset, strategic planning, sales and conversions

What Are The Problems OMG Machines?

Here are some of the issues I found with OMG Machines:

Price is Very Expensive

This has been mentioned, and needs to be said again. At $7,999, the course is very expensive. I can think of many things I can buy with that amount of money.

There is a cheaper option. One that teaches you SEO as well as many other digital marketing strategies such as how to create an affilaite marketing website, basic to advanced SEO, social media marketing, email marketing, YouTube marketing, Pay Per Click (PPC) Advertising, and more!

My #1 Recommendation

Price for OMG Machines too steep for you? I understand. Here is a more affordably priced online course that I personally use, and have found success with. Click the blue button below to find out more.
(Try for Free, No Risk, and No Credit Card Required)

No Refund

From what I understand, there usually is a refund policy for many businesses. OMG Machines has a strict No Refund policy.

Claims of Making Thousands of Dollars a Month

Sure. The claims may be true. But, they often leave out the part where it requires a lot of hard work. And how long did it take for these people to start making money, and eventually make thousands, and even millions.

From my experience, affiliate marketing is like any business. You need time to grow the business. You need effort to make money.

Does Not Explain SEO Basics

OMG Machines teach advanced SEO. That much is clear. Even their students who rave about the course admits this. This makes the course more suitable for experienced and knowledgeable marketers.

I have been doing digital marketing for over 20 years. So, understanding what is taught in this course would not be a problem for me. But if you are new to digital marketing, it can be a problem.

Scarcity Trickery

The course is not open to new customers all year round. This creates the illusion of scarcity. It is a marketing tactic hurry people to buy the course now before it is ‘out of stock’.

Nothing wrong with this as this is quite a comon marketing tactic. But I thought you should know.

Criticism from Customers

I found quite a few ex customers who used OMG Machines, and were unhappy. Here are a couple of them.

Here is a video by a customer. Apparently he has riled up the OMG Machines owners and community. Watch to see what he says, and the points he made.

Another Unhappy Customer – No Refund

I found this post on Warrior Forum. He highlighted a case where a former OMG Machines customer asked for a refund. From what I read, the customer sounded reasonable to me. But the response from Mike Long was unprofessional.

What Are The Packages & Prices For OMG Machines?

For the whole course, the one-time price is $7,999. You can pay by installments, too.

Is OMG Machines Worth the Price?

I read some articles that said the course is great value for money. On the other hand, there are articles from past customers who disagree. Most were disappointed with the lessons. And said that the content can be easily found on the Internet for free.

OMG Machines Review – Scam or Legit? – Passive Online Revenue Final Word

VERDICT: Legit, but …

This is a legit business. Of course it is. And they have a legit course to offer to the world. But …

I was initially quite pleased when I read all the good reviews by their students. Then I realized that they were pushing the course, too. Nothing wrong with that. But I would have preferred a little more balanced perspective.

At first, I searched on Google with the keywords – OMG Machines Review. And that was when I got all the nice reviews on my search results. Then I searched with – OMG Machines Review Scam or Legit. And I found the other views of this product.

Any product will receive fair amount of criticism. It is important to consider both sides of the coin before considering purchase. With the above list of problems with OMG Machines, I am not willing to buy this course. Also, at $7,999, it is very expensive.

I have purchased, and am still subscribing to, an online training program that is affordable. And it teaches me more than SEO. I learned so much from it. If you like to know more about this course, click the blue button below.
