In this article, I will discuss with you about Online Marketing, that is How to Promote Your Online Business with Digital Marketing Strategies.
The strategies include SEO (Search Engine Optimization), Blogging, Social Media Marketing, Video Marketing, Content Marketing, Email Marketing, and more.

SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization. It is a strategy rank website and web pages high on search results. The preference is to rank on the First Page of search engines such as Google.
This is because studies like the one done by Chitika have proven that 91.5% of people searching choose websites that are on search results First Page.
Think about it. How often do you look beyond the first page of search results? Very rarely right?
So, when you or an expert you hire does SEO on your website, and you get ranked on the First Page of search results. This is immediately online visibility of your business. People then become aware that your business exists.
After that, there is a very high chance, as stated above 91.5% chance, that people will click and visit your website. This is traffic going to your website. The traffic that goes to your website presents an opportunity for you to engage with the people, convert them into customers and get revenue and sales.
So, how does one do SEO? There is a lot to be done; such as On Page SEO and Off Page SEO tactics such as Off Page Mentions, Backlinks, Article Submissions, Online Press Releases, and so on. I will write a whole article about this as writing it here will result in this article being too long.
Blogging is one of the best ways to promote your online business. Google and other search engines love fresh content. For example, a Metlife Hong Kong video marketing campaign titled ‘My Dad’s Story: Dream For My Child’ engaged more than 300 million people, with over 27 million views on Facebook and on YouTube, 7 million viewers shared the video, 268 million read about the video through nearly 100 news reports, and 280,000 visited the MetLife microsites in Hong Kong, Vietnam, and Malaysia.
The reasons that people enjoy videos are many. For one, they are easy to consume. They appeal to the senses and tugs at the heartstrings. The information communicated is bite-sized that can quickly bring across the important message to the audience.
Lastly, videos can improve SEO. Google owns YouTube. So naturally, including YouTube videos on your landing page will help boost your Google ranking. A research by Forrester Research said that when you have video on your web page, the chances of it getting to the First Page increases by 50 times.
One of the ways for your online business to be successful is to do Email Marketing. When visitors drop by your website, grab the opportunity to capture their contact information. Usually, just their name and email addresses. As you collect more subscribers, you are building a list. This list is very valuable for your business because you can send them emails to encourage them to buy your products or services.
But, it is not so simple as that. You will need autoresponders. You will need to nurture a relationship with your subscribers. Over time, you gain their trust. And you can convert them into long time customers and advocates.
